COURSE OBJECTIVES / OUTLINE

Welcome to the world of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA). An era where Business Agility will be the most significant single factor in deciding the winners and losers in the new economy. Winners in commercial businesses will create higher profits, increase employee engagement, and more thoroughly satisfy customer needs. Winners in nonprofits will build resilience, sustainability, and the alignment needed to fulfill its mission.

Business Agility demands that enterprises rapidly increase their ability to deliver innovative products and services ahead of their competitions. Enterprises must realize that Business Agility is a key ingredient to staying relevant in today’s VUCA environment.

True agility gives importance to getting feedback faster, not to get the product right on the first try. It is this focus on outcomes rather than outputs that set teams in the right path towards agility. Agile development framework has become the corner stone of Business Agility.

Applying Agile in software development can make the difference between a project which has a low chance of completion and one which will deliver results very quickly and continue to deliver results over time.

Agile was designed to be applicable beyond software development. Applying this digital age thinking and practices to processes and other types of non-IT enterprise projects was foreseen from the very beginning of business agility movement.

This one-day workshop aims to empower learners to apply Agile/Scrum methodology, thinking and practices to non-IT enterprise projects successfully across functional boundaries.
